Pêche à pied

On land…
Whether you’re on foot, cycling or on horseback there’s so much to see and do on the Guérande Peninsula. For example, don your walking shoes and explore the Sentier des Douaniers coastal path with its wild unspoilt coastline and fine sandy beaches. Or, for the more energetic amongst you, try the 184-step climb to the top of the Tour Saint-Guénolé to enjoy what is undoubtedly the most spectacular view of the peninsula.
Bike hire on site.

The local tourist office offers 2 walking guides with details of 11 dedicated cycle routes and 19 walking and horse riding/cycle routes.

...or by sea
Why not get off the beaten track and explore the area from a different angle - in a sea kayak?
A number of guided kayak trips are available leaving from Le Pouliguen, Batz-sur-Mer, Le Croisic and Piriac-sur-Mer.
The local rivers offer another great way of exploring La Vilaine and La Roche-Bernard.
